MODEL: GP-PWM-30A charge controller is an essential component of your photovoltaic (PV) system. The controller maintains the life of the battery by protecting it from overcharging. When your battery has reached a 100% state of charge, the controller prevents overcharging by limiting the current flowing into the batteries from your solar array.
Features:
Watch the unboxing of the PWM-30 (2013 model) and how it's installed.
Maximum Power Boost TechnologyOur 30 Amp Digital Solar Controller features Maximum Power Boost Technology™ (MPBT). This allows you to override the normal charging algorithm of the solar controller to 'boost' the solar charge, which is ideal at the end of the daylight to ensure batteries are topped up for the evening. Performance of the solar controller will not be affected if MPBT function is not utilized.
1 Pair of 2 to 1 MC4 String Connectors
2 ANL Fuse Holder With Fuse
30FT Marine CSA 2/12 AWG
Construction: Tinned stranded copper insulated to meet SAE, ABYC, UL and Coast Guard requirements, 600 volts, 105°C. Various insulated single conductors are extruded together, in parallel with a tough PVC jacket.Ratings:
Designed to meet the requirements of Underwriters Laboratories, Inc. for boat cable 105°C dry, 75°C wet, (CSA). Also meets the Department of Transportation Coast Guard specifications "Boats and Associated Equipment" safety standards for electrical and gasoline fuel systems CFR 33 Part 183.
